Data deletion

Your rights

You can request deletion of your data at any time under GDPR Article 17 (right to erasure).

How to delete your data

Self-service (Kernel and member app)

  1. Log in to your account at kernel.freelance-os.fr or app.freelance-os.fr.
  2. Go to Settings > Account > Delete my account.
  3. Confirm the deletion.

Account deletion triggers, within 30 days:

  • Deletion of your profile and credentials
  • Deletion of personal content (drafts, knowledge, threads)
  • Anonymization of data retained for legal obligations
  • Revocation of all third-party OAuth tokens

By email

If you don't have an active account (waitlist, one-shot contact), or if you face a blocker, email contact@freelance-os.fr with:

  • Subject: "GDPR deletion request"
  • The email address concerned
  • Scope: "waitlist", "Kernel account", "workspace [name]", or "all my data"

We acknowledge receipt within 72 hours and process the request within 30 days max (extensible by 2 months for complexity, with notification).

Data deleted

  • User account (profile, auth user)
  • Drafts, ideas, presentations, pages, personal knowledge items
  • Bookings, conversation threads, prospection notes
  • OAuth tokens (Google, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Meta, WhatsApp)
  • Connection IPs (beyond the LCEN minimum)
  • Preferences and customizations

These data are isolated and accessible only for the legal purposes described.

Multi-member workspaces

If you are a member of a workspace administered by a third party (e.g. agency workspace), deletion of your personal data is our responsibility. Business data entered in the workspace (quotes, contracts, content) remains under the control of the workspace owner (controller). See /en/dpa.

Third-party OAuth tokens

Deletion on the Freelance OS side revokes access from our services but does not remove content already published on the third-party provider (e.g. a YouTube video already published stays published). To delete such third-party content, manage it directly at the provider.

Complaint

If unsatisfied with our handling of your request, you may file with the French CNIL: https://www.cnil.fr/en/plaintes, or your local supervisory authority.
